Were You Really Completely Fooled by His/Her Infidelity?
How many people here had a spouse cheat on them and truly never did see the signs? Did it really come as a complete and total shock, out of the blue? Details, if you care to share …
And if you DID see signs and catch them, what were the signs?

I saw the signs. She started coming home later. She dressed alot nicer. She wore thongs and matching bras, but would only wear boxers and old tshirts around the house. She was never, I repeat, never interested in sex. She started having to go on trips all of a sudden.
It took me a couple months of putting together the pieces and actually catching her, but I was able to. God, that seems so long ago now…like an old movie I saw or something. I won’t go into details about it, but I played amature detective and caught her with the guy. It wasn’t pleasent.

I was cheated on and I didn’t have a clue. I was very young and very immature. Age has made me wise and I know the signs now.
I was with this guy for 1 1/2 years and we lived together. One night, a woman came knocking on my door looking for him. I later found out that he had been seeing this woman for 6 months. That was the end of our relationship.

where was I fooled?, big times because i know he can’t and wont but i was wrong. But for 2 months I noticed things that he never done before like always in a hurry to go to work,well dress just for work, cell phone is well hidden so no one can find it, coming home very early in the morning,always lock himself in our garage where he made his office area, he ignored our children and taking a shower twice a day esp. when he comes homes very late in the evening…

I was completely shocked. He travels a lot and I never suspected that a few of his "trips" were pretend. I knew of her and had even met her years ago and thought she was just a casual aquantance. Not a single bell went off until he had two "trips" to the same area in a short amount of time. Also he started acting really hateful, like he wanted me to be mad. (So I’d be glad he was leaving?) He confessed, I never suspected it had gone that far.

ohhh…. i hate this. i’ve never experienced. but my sister and my cousin had.
from their story, i think its not too hard to catch them you know… they are idiot.

oh that would be me, i completely trusted him, always said, he might not be perfect but he would never sleep with someone else. it shocked me since i have never been confronted with cheating. never! would i say that again about him and thats really sad. i found out when i found revealing pics, phone nr and adress of another woman in my house. there were signs, yes, but the thing is i believed in the good in him

I was so shocked I just couldn’t believe it. The signs were everywhere, only I never saw them. It was never my practice to do things like looking at credit card receipts, phone receipts, read his messages or keep an eye on his handling of the mobile phone etc. All these had ready clues but I never looked.
The mobile phone I notice can be a good giveaway. When you see that he is always keeping the phone nearby even when sleeping or going to the shower etc, then usually they are hiding something. Of if you see messages coming at strange times, keep your ears open.
There’s a good book that just came out. I would recommend it to anyone who has some suspicion.
