My friend is currently deployed and any time the phone rings I always jump to see if its him because I care about him and am so worried about him. This is not uncommon for men or women in the service. i remember staying back from field exercise and going out to the club and seeing all the wives of the men in the field out with other men. Not a good thing. I would not write or email or do anything for a while and see if she does. If she does she will be wondering why you havent and ask. Tell her the truth.
